Paul Weller
Founder
Paul is the founder and Managing Director of Astonia Associates and has been running accountancy and tax practices for over 20 years.
Whilst dealing with many different business sectors, Paul has developed Astonia into arguably one of the leading property tax specialist practices in the country.
Paul says “we have proudly developed a solid and professional team covering every area of tax, legal, insurance and finance so that our clients do not need to go anywhere else. We have an incredible team who deliver an outstanding service and are meticulous in everything they do”.
Anton Lane
Tax Partner
Anton is a Chartered Tax Adviser with over 20 years experience solving the most complicated of tax challenges.
Anton is an industry recognised specialist dealing with tax planning, HMRC investigations as well as specialist subjects including property tax and VAT.
He is the author of the Practical Enquiries Manual, several annotated Finance Acts and writes regularly for Taxation, Tax Adviser and Tax Digest.
Jean Hillman
Practice Director
Having been involved in the financial services sectors for over 25 years, Jean now ensures that all of our operational deadlines are meticulously met, and oversees all ongoing technical training with our team.
Kerry Corpe
Practice Manager
Kerry is our Practice Manager at Astonia Associates and has been working in senior positions in Accountancy Practices for over 25 years.
Kerry manages all relationships with our clients and team members, to ensure that the practice and our team run seamlessly and our clients receive a first class service.
Zahra Nikolaidis
Practice Accountant Manager
Zahra is the Practice Accountant Manager at Astonia, she works closely with Kerry and Laura and manages the other accountants within our business. Zahra is highly experienced in the Accountancy and Tax sectors, specialising in a wide range of property areas, she also has in-depth knowledge of preparation of company and personal accounts together with identifying tax saving opportunities to ensure that our clients are always operating as tax efficiently as possible. Zahra is always on hand and happy to help our clients with any questions or concerns they may have within their business or personal tax areas.
Laura Berry
Practice Accounts Assistant
Laura is a highly organised administrator and works closely with Zahra our Practice Accountant Manager and the team to ensure that all information has been received from our clients so that both company and personal tax affairs are processed in a timely, smooth, and efficient manner ensuring all deadlines are met. Laura has a great relationship with our clients and is always on hand to help with any queries that arise.
Sarah Badis
Practice Bookkeeping Manager
Sarah runs and oversees all of the Bookkeeping operations for our clients using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and many other Bookkeeping packages including the specialised Landlords software packages.
Sarah and the team can also produce monthly/quarterly Management Accounts and other Management Information and KPI’s to ensure that our clients have the most up to date information to run their businesses effectively and are well informed for business decision making.
Karen Johnson
Practice Administrator
Karen supports all the departments within our practice and ensures that our internal systems are robust and consistently evolving. Karen has a good working relationship with our client base, she is friendly, approachable, and always eager to help with any questions that arise.
Melanie Oates
Practice Bookkeeper
Mel supports our bookkeeping manager within the practice. Mel manages the payroll, CIS, and VAT for our clients. Mel is very well organised and ensures that all client deadlines are met in accordance with all statutory rules. She has a great relationship with our clients and always happy to help with any queries that arise.
Cate Jackson
Tax Manager

Cate became a qualified member of the Association of Tax Technicians and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2019. Cate manages enquiries, tax compliance and tax health checks.
Lee Kitching

Lee is a professionally qualified Mortgage Adviser with over 12 years experience within both Estate Agency and Financial Services fields.
Lee helps our clients and contacts build property portfolios across the whole of the UK, from first time landlords to the very experienced landlords with 100’s of properties both commercial & residential.
As an independent broker Lee has whole of market access to products and over the years has built up solid and trusted relationships with many of the lenders which allows direct access to underwriters and also access to exclusive rates/products.
Becky Guy
CONSULTANT FINANCIAL ADVISOR
With over 20 years experience in providing financial advice for high net worth individuals, Becky prides herself on the long term relationships she has built with clients over that time.
As an independent financial adviser, the most important aspect of financial planning for her is really getting to know and understand the needs and aspirations of each client. This results in working with them to ensure the most appropriate solutions are found to achieve their goals and reviewing annually to keep on track.
Becky also runs the Hertfordshire practice of Sterling and Law.
Chris Roberts

Chris is the Managing Director of Capital Allowance Review Service who have 20 years expertise in processing Capital Allowance claims against property expenditure and are seen as one of the market leaders across the UK.
Legislation changes over recent years has seen Chris and his multi disciplinary team continue to showcase their importance in what has become an extremely complex subject with significant tax benefits.
